Job Description
Vlocity, Inc. is recruiting best in class Technical Architects (pre-sales) to help sell our vertical industry applications. Our Industry Cloud Architects are deep product & platform experts, and work closely with our field sales and products teams to develop customer strategies, assist in building exceptional demos and POCs and overcome the most challenging technical obstacles encountered during a sales cycles. This role requires effective technical cloud architecture experience, problem-solving and proactive communication skills, and a mastery of enterprise applications.
Responsibilities

• Be an expert in Vlocitys platform and related technologies

• Understand customer technical requirements and map these into Salesforce / Vlocity architectural capabilities. Develop high-quality presentations, proposals and demonstrations that speak to these requirements

• Provide customer feedback to the product management and engineering teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancements

• Provide recommendations for overcoming technical sales objections

• Bias to making those around you successful and are comfortable working as a team player and mentor

• Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture

Experience

• Expertise with enterprise CRM technical sales and/or implementations, including all aspects of configuration, customization, and integration

• Proven track record of being able to sell technical products as a Sales Engineer

Technical Skills

• Expertise with Salesforces Visualforce, Lightning, and Apex, or with comparable technologies

• Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (frameworks like React, Angular, etc. are an extra bonus)

• Mastery of the architectural principles of web based platforms including SaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure and application servers. Understanding of competitive cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures

• Expertise with enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL environments and an understanding of integration considerations such as process orchestration, customer data integration and master data management

• A good understanding of the security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier, multi-tenant web applications

• Architectural and development experience of Web Services

• Principles of network, application and information security

Desirable Certifications / Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
