What will you be doing?

As PRAs Cyber Security Architect, you will be a part of the PRA Data Privacy and Cyber Security team responsible for data privacy, cyber security engineering and operations. You will obtain and document knowledge of PRAs people, process and technology, to identify weak points of PRAs ecosystem and recommend ways to improve and update PRAs Data Privacy and Cyber Security approach.

Other Duties are:

  • Own technical engagement and technical delivery of data privacy and cybersecurity projects
  • Design, estimate, implement, test and support cyber security controls to deliver measurable improvement of PRAs security posture and risk exposure
  • Perform Security, Risk and Privacy Assessments and support development of good security postures for IT Projects
  • Support Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) to meet GDPR requirements
  • Provide technical consulting to stakeholder in decision making for Cyber Security investments
  • Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirement into security solutions
  • Support and foster a security-by-design and privacy-by-design culture
  • Support in the creation and review of policies and procedures
  • Participate in and/or organize Cyber Security exercises such as Tabletops and Capture the Flags in order to improve detection and response capabilities
  • Serve as security subject-matter expert for the IT Teams, Business Units and other Security Professionals
  • Acts as a mentor, trainer and advisor for PRAs Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Team

You might be required to share on-call duties and perform work on weekends and overnight, to respond to high priority security incidents.



What do you need to have?

Desired:

  • 10+ Years Cyber Security experience.
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology or related field.
  • 2 Years; experience leading or supervising a small team of security professionals
  • Experience with Data Privacy and Privacy by Design.
  • Experience with HIPPA and GDPR risk assessments.
  • Security Certifications e.g. CISSP, GLEG, GSTRT, GSNA, GCTI, GNFA, GMON, CISM
  • Engineering & Architecture Certifications e.g. SABSA, MCSE, LPIC, CCAR.
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks such as, NIST, ISO27001, SOC2, etc.
  • Experience with Threat Intelligence and Threat Modeling.
  • Experience with Risk Assessments.
  • Experience with Security Awareness.
  • Experience with Incident Response.
  • Experience with several of the following areas: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Protection, Security Analytics, Email Security, Vulnerability Scanner, Honeypots, SIEM, SOAR, CASB, VPN, DNS, MS Active Directory, PKI and Encryption.
  • Autodidact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Technology or related field OR Equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated above.
  • Advanced Knowledge in network & server infrastructure security.
  • Advanced Knowledge in Cloud Security.
  • Advanced up-to-date knowledge of security products.
  • Advanced Knowledge in adversary tactics, techniques and procedures.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written) skills in English.
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
