The Developers role will work closely with our project managers, product owners, business leaders, and development team members to deliver application support and business automation solutions for departments within American Airlines.
The development team is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining IT applications, as well as customization and integration of 3rd party software. Key technologies include Mobile Data, Mobile 365, Microsoft SQL Server, .Net, with exposure to others, Java, and Angular JS. Exposure to DevOps and CI / CD is a very big plus.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of application development experience
- 3 years of Microsoft .NET programming experience
- 3 years of SQL DB Development
- 3 years of experience defining user requirements
Preferred Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
- 3 years of Microsoft .Net Experience
- 3 years of SQL database development
- 3 years of application support experience
- 3 years mobile application support
- Airline Industry experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Experience with front-end user interface design (e.g., HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap)
- Experience with key technologies, such as .NET and SQL Server, SSIS, AngularJS, React, Visual Studio, and C#
- Experience in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
- Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
