Fiserv, an international financial services technology provider, produces payments processing technology for more than 10,000 clients globally. They are seeking Java Developers who have worked on payments transaction software for new product builds, enhancements to existing products and integrations of platforms for long term 2 year contracts with an opportunity to convert into full-time employees!
SR. JAVA DEVELOPER - CONTRACT - PARSIPPANY, NJ

Sr. Java Developer Skill Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field.
* Several years of experience in design, development and testing of software using C, Java, JavaScript, JSON, Eclipse, SVN, Oracle, Ajax, Struts, JBoss/WildFly, Perl, XML, SQL, Web Services in an Open Systems Linux environment
* Basic Network understanding and knowledge of TCPIP fundamentals.
* Experience with Financial Industry Standard Message protocols and interfaces such as ISO 8583
* Experience working with remote and offshore development teams.
Preferred skills/experiences/education:
* Master degree in computer science or a related field
* Experience with agile development practices
* Application knowledge of Card Services applications
* Background in financial services, specifically in real time card transaction processing, and digital applications
* Ability to trouble shoot basic network issues via Wire Shark or other packet sniffing tools
* Deep understanding of data types, queuing, Inter Process Communication strategies and system performance and monitoring
* Experience with HP Tandem, Enscribe, C, TAL
