Cyber Operations Workflow and Automation Lead at JP Morgan Chase (Wilmington, DE)

The Global Cybersecurity and Technology Controls (CTC) organization ensures the security and resiliency of the Firms computing environment, enabling it to protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory and audit requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high-quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture. 



The Workflow and Automation Lead will work directly with business stakeholders as well as the Shared Services Product and technology teams to jointly define the workflow and automation strategy for Cybersecurity Operations. You will be responsible for advancing the teams workflow and automation roadmap while supporting the process reengineering required for efficient operational activities.



The scope of this position is broad, and the successful candidate will:




  • Define and execute on a common vision for workflow and automation across Cybersecurity Operations



  • Ensure consistency across team requirements



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize sprints in line with organizational objectives



  • Ensure that workflows are designed with quality assurance in mind



  • Identify any impediments to workflow and automation and prioritize resolution



  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to identify and drive improvements in the service/execution delivered to Cyber Operations


 The ideal candidate will have experience as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach.  As Scrum Master you are expected to be a team facilitator and be responsible for bringing the team together to deliver and to continually improve the teams performance.


 



  • 7+ years experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager.



  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical members of the organization including senior management



  • Experience collaborating with a global matrixed team



  • Demonstrated experience of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis



  • Solid analytical & problem solving skills - capable of objectively reviewing and understanding issues and tenacious in seeking quick, creative solutions and removing impediments



  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively



  • Experience in Agile methodology


  • Proven experience as a practicing Scrum Master


  • Scrum Certification is preferred


  • Experience with other Agile/Lean practices such as XP or Kanban


  • Experience as an Agile coach


  • Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development, Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery


  • Expertise in  continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value


  • Understanding of object orientation and software design patterns


  • Experience testing at the unit, integration and system levels


  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency


  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)


  • Demonstrated extensive experience delivering technology solutions
