IBM's Tech Re-Entry program is looking for talented technical professionals who are looking to restart their careers after an absence from the workforce of two years or more. This paid 12 week returnship will enable you to work on projects that match your expertise, interests, and abilities and could lead to full-time employment. During your IBM Tech Re-Entry returnship program, you will have the opportunity to update your skills in a contemporary work environment. You will have access to the latest tools and technologies available and work alongside a multi-disciplinary teams to hone your expertise and deliver on client-critical solutions. You'll be able to experience the breadth of IBM resources while developing new skills and relationships.

The Cybersecurity Delivery Specialist will participate in projects to secure critical data and systems. This hands-on role will require a cybersecurity professional with excellent communication skills for active collaboration with a variety of different teams. The candidate will help understand or identify the business risks, identify protections, and drive remediation through agile execution.

This role will protect IBM's and client data; working in an exciting vibrant and agile office environment with great leadership and growth opportunities. The successful candidate will be an IT professional, a self-starter, and have experience or understanding of Agile Project Management, Business Analytics, Enterprise Solutions, and Data Protection.

In order to qualify for this returnship, you must have been out of the full-time workforce for a minimum of 2 years. Upon acceptance of the offer you are required to attend a 3 day orientation in our HQ Armonk, NY



Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in Information Technology
Experience or understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing technologies, infrastructure or platform-as-a-service, containers, and serverless
Possess understanding of at least two of these domains: Authentication and Directory Services, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management, Data Loss Prevention, Application Security, Incident Response
Ability to speak and write well: Ability to compile and present to a technical audience
Planning and/or Technical Writing skills are highly desired

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Additional industry certification is highly desired:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
