Job Purpose
- Design and development of software projects, and maintenance of existing projects, to ensure the effective functioning of the HPSNZ Innovation Engineering Team (known as Goldmine) and its impact on athlete performance
- Working with internal and external innovation colleagues create bespoke and world leading engineering solutions that will improve our nations sporting performance
Key Accountabilities
- As a key member of the HPSNZ innovation team, help create impactful solutions for sport driven innovation projects
- Analyse, design and develop the software component of selected innovation projects to meet the needs of targeted sports.
- Forge positive working relationships Athlete Performance Support (APS) providers, Olympic medal campaign coaches, and High Performance Directors (HPD’s) in targeted sports.
- Ensure the integrity and security of all Goldmine software / data
- Proactively examine the implemented Goldmine systems for areas of improvement.
