As a member of the architecture team, you will take the lead on architectural design and breakdowns for our back end systems and components in order to provide scalability and resiliency to T-Mobile H&E next-generation cable service. This is a senior role that requires both breadth and depth of software design and development experience and exceptional time management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with product managers to review requirements and make architecture-level decisions
- Document and elaborate architectural designs to drive system and component implementation
- Perform architectural and code reviews by working closely with development teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas to multiple parties in a way that promotes understanding
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must-Haves:
- Graduate degree or higher in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of software design/development
- 2+ years of javascript/node.js development
- 2+ years of RESTful web API design/implementation
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with video delivery systems
- Experience with back office systems
- Experience with popular billing and subscription management solutions
- Experience with agile process and tools
- Experience with test driven development
- AWS, Openstack, or other cloud platforms
- MongoDB or other NoSQL DB
- WebSocket
- HTML/CSS
