Role
- Collaborate with a scrum-driven software engineering team to build application features, and plan and execute tests to validate those features
- Identify and implement ways to improve test quality and speed
- Design and review implementation of test automation framework
- Monitor release quality, and make recommendations regarding risks and stability of new features
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with software quality assurance, including both automated and manual testing
- Hands-on experience in automation testing (TestCafe, Protractor or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman or equivalent)
- Proficient in one of the following: Javascript, Typescript, or other relevant test automation languages
- Experience with CI & CD practices, such as automated tests, builds, and deployments
- Demonstrated history of staying current on best practices and technology
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently solve problems
- Passion for quality and continuous improvement
- Understanding of the scrum methodology
- Ability to thrive and make decisions in fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Highly organized with an obsessive attention to detail
