You will be expected to:
- Develop code that conforms to the design, addresses non-functional requirements, and complies with the coding standards and conventions. Participate in peer code reviews;
- Create detailed Unit Test plan, perform unit testing, integration testing, support QA and User acceptable testing;
- Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the development team to establish clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of the deliverables.
- Analyze current programs and troubleshoot production issues. Identify potential performance tuning improvement areas and implement tuning measures.
- Ensure that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle and ensure high quality delivery during all phases of the SDLC.
- Possess a good understanding of change management and release processes.
Your profile :
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar major
- 3+ years of development experience in GIT (or similar), JQuery, JAVA, JSP, PL/SQL, Eclipse IDE, Web services, Spring Framework, Maven or Gradle, Junit, Apache Tomcat;
- Knowledge/Experience in Agile Development and Management Tools for e.g. Jira, Jenkins
It would be a plus if you have:
- Any recent Java certifications
- Some experience with Scrum, Kanban or other agile methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, such as Oracle
