Country Risk Management is an independent risk management function which works in close partnership with other risk functions to identify and monitor country risk across the firm including Credit Risk, Market Risk, CTC Risk, TS Risk, etc. Country Risk Management is responsible for developing guidelines and policy for managing country risk in both emerging and developing countries across all lines of business. Country Risk Management has a comprehensive framework for identifying, measuring and controlling country risk.

Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages such as JAVA, Big Data(Hadoop,SPARK,Oozie,Hive,HBase) etc.
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Responsible for delivering solution design and POCs, where applicable.
Conduct design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations.
Transform abstract design to concrete implementation
Delivery - including development, testing, deployment & support
Follow industry and JPMC standards and trends. Monitor implementations to help ensure adherence to established standards.
Analyze system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them
Learn new and cutting edge technologies
Five plus years of application programming and development experience in but not limited to JAVA/JEE, Oracle (or similar RDBMS databases) and frameworks like Spring, hibernate, JPA, etc.
BS Degree in Computer science or related field
Strong knowledge of multi-threading and batch processing
Experience with multi-tier and service oriented architecture
Experience / knowledge of BigData and associated technologies such as Hadoop (Common, HDFS, Yarn, MapReduce), Hive, HBase, Spark (Streaming and Spark SQL), etc. is preferable
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Familiarity with enterprise source control management tools - GIT, SVN
Strategic thinking, collaboration and consensus building skills
