As a Senior Customer Engineering Lead, you will manage a team of like-minded engineers energized by customer interaction and enablement. You and your team will invest the majority of your time understanding customer issues and solving them directly.

We are a fast-growing business unit inside Arm, developing the next generation of an IoT device to cloud infrastructure. Our mission is to help our customers and partners design and build full end-to-end solutions of their targeted IoT devices with their targeted cloud services.
You will be a leader in a professional, multi-region team who all share a vision and passion for building a foundation for this emerging industry. You’ll be working closely with talented software and hardware engineers, interacting with the project and product teams and focusing on your customer's success.
YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Direct responsibility over team members’ well-being and day-to-day activities
- Task definition and prioritization, leading multiple tasks running in parallel
- Actively engage with members of the globally distributed team to efficient share information that enables our customers to succeed.
- Work with key customers to help build and support integrations between their IoT device and cloud solutions and our ecosystem.
- Drive interactions with internal teams, including Engineering and Business unit leaders
- Find and fix issues in full IoT stack solutions (embedded to web)
- Build demos, custom projects, proof of concepts, examples and tutorials for IoT use cases
- Write developer documentation to help customers
- Develop, deliver, and report on customer/partner facing activities
- Port platforms, modules and drivers
- Deliver product-related education, presentations and training
- Enjoys travel to support events, demos, on-site support and conferences up to 20% of the time

Job Requirements
What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of Embedded C, C++ experience
- You have in-depth experience working with hardware and software for microcontrollers, and excel in helping others to be productive and successful in their work.
- You are an effective communicator that can bridge the gap between technical and business-focused teams
- You will direct effective and efficient projects and meetings, and multi-task across projects
- You are open to new technologies, independent and self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking
- Strong customer interaction experience
- Good technical communicator
Preferred Skills and Deep Understanding:
- Excellent in-depth knowledge of writing embedded C and C++ code, prefer Arm Cortex M microcontrollers
- Microcontroller power mode management, firmware update, startup and bootloaders
- Previous experience at using the mbed Ecosystem
- Understanding Radio technologies used in IoT Applications (BLE, Wi-Fi, 6LoWPAN, Thread, LoRA and IPv6)
- Python, other scripting languages
- Javascript, HTML, DotNet, web application frameworks
- Networking technologies and developing network-centric applications
- Develop, test and release workflows for high-volume OEM products
- Project Management systems experience (Jira / Atlassian stack)
