About the role
Our goal is to create the most elegant, intuitive, accessible and powerful platform in Australia that empowers people with disability and their support workers. We want to give them more control over whom they choose to connect with.
What you’ll be doing
- Migrating our platform from Angular to React
- Building out our backend capabilities using Node.js
- Collaborating with other departments when building new features for our community of users
- Building efficient and reusable abstractions and systems
- Implementing intuitive and accessible user interfaces
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a good knowledge of developing single page applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Has experience with API design and development preferably with Node.js
- Has experience with React
- Produces high-quality code - readable, maintainable and tested
- Has a great eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility
