As a Data Engineer you work closely with our BI team to discover new data sources and integrate new information into our established cloud-based data warehouse. You love to dive through data? Your responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain all aspects from how data is collected and processed to data reporting and analytics
- Import data from various external and internal sources , including big data platforms or non-relational databases
- Develop ETL processes and database structures
- Work together with analysts, data scientists and other stakeholders across teams to fulfil their data needs
Your profile
- Degree in informatics, business informatics, computer science or related fields
- First relevant professional working experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment
- Experience with databases or ETL technology is a plus
- Hands-on, no-barrier mindset who takes initiative to make things happen
- Fast learner and quick to adapt to new technologies
- High commitment and motivation
- Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills, other languages are a plus
