Do you think this could be you? To pursue our ambitious expansion strategy, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f) to join our Site Reliability Group. In this position you will work with a team of skilled people ensuring that our applications fit all the technical requirements to run in the cloud under high standards of availability, stability and performance.
You come with:
- Enthusiasm for software engineering best practices such as automated testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Passion for DevOps: you can build up understanding of our complex application architecture and actively support the development teams with the necessary tooling to improve productivity, stability and security
- Willingness to participate in our 24/7 rotation
And the following technical skills:
- Deep knowledge of PHP and its ecosystem, knowledge of at least another programming language (nodejs, python, golang, scala, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Linux (Debian and Ubuntu)
- Experience with highly available, high traffic, distributed web applications
- Deep knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ
- Experience with Cloud services, ideally AWS
- Automation and configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible as well as Docker and its ecosystem (compose, machine, swarm, etc.)
- Services like Elasticsearch, Solr, Redis, Memcached (with mcrouter)
- Good MySQL (Percona / RDS / Aurora) administration knowledge
- Cloud ready monitoring is a plus (Nagios, ELK, Graphite, New Relic, Cloudwatch)
