Commerce Software Engineer, Apple Media Products at Apple Inc. (Cupertino, CA)

The Apple Media Products Commerce engineering team is looking for a proven Software Engineer for payment processing and related functions in commerce interactions on the iTunes Store, including Account Creation, Manage Payment Info, Content Purchase, In-App purchase, subscriptions and more. Join our exciting engineering team that has been leading the digital distribution industry by constantly developing innovative features since its launch. The position requires someone who's comfortable with all aspects of the software design cycle.

Key Qualifications:
At least 5 years of exceptional Java programming experience
Object-oriented programming
Deep experience in Unix/Linux
Entity relationship modeling
Experience with Key/Value Stores
Experience programming for eventual consistency

Description:
The position covers engineering solutions for the purchasing of all types of content on the iTunes Store (from ringtones to songs to apps) and also the life-cycle of that content (from updates to redownloads to restores). This work includes content acquired via code redemptions and features like Complete My Album and Complete My Season.

You will work on features related to all forms of In-App purchase and services supporting In-App purchase.

You will work on interfaces to many different kinds of payment systems worldwide.

You will be responsible for account management features such as authentication, account creation, editing your billing information, security features supporting account changes, managing aspects of your account like your season passes, pre-orders, allowances, purchase history and more.

You will work on subscription services like iTunes Match and In-App subscriptions such as Newsstand.

Education:
BS in Computer Science or related field. MS preferred.
