We are a biometrics technology company headquartered in NYC, and we’re building out our Innovations Team. We’re seeking a Senior/Lead level Engineer with heavy integration experience who can integrate our API with our partners’ platforms.
What will you be doing here?
You will develop and maintain our sandbox API environment, which is used for a number of applications and technologies. You’ll also provide customers with your API integration expertise to determine different use cases for our API. This is a client-facing role- you will work with the development community and our stakeholders to assist with the usage of our API, and provide solutions for clients.
There is also a heavy research component to the role, as you’ll be analyzing trends in the software and security industries, and through this research, you’ll prototype different biometric technologies that we can use for our platform.
Who are you?
You’re a Senior Engineer who:
- Has experience with API integrations, API designs, and has a deep background in API development
- Has heavy integration experience and has worked in a client-facing role
- Is cloud-agnostic, and has a deep understanding of why there are multiple clouds
- Has some experience in C#/.NET as the first phase of the role will be in C# related projects
- Has experience in other languages and frameworks, which shows a varied level of experience
- Is experienced in a role where you’ve engaged with the developer community
- Has experience in research and development
Some plusses:
- You have strong experience in ideally Java/Kotlin
- Docker experience is a huge plus!
- Experience with biometrics technologies and platforms
