Our Client based at San Diego, CA  is seeking to fill multiple openings of Senior Research Engineer Positions

Job Title: Senior Research Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 06+ Months

Responsibilities:

·         Create and implement artistic demos, integrated graphics and visual effects that represent advanced AR and computer vision technologies

·         Design software tools, asset pipelines, visual interfaces and functionalities to promote fast and agile proof-of-concept development for mobile phone systems and end-user programs

·         Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing products and features

·         Develop high-level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, video animations, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

·         Work closely with other researchers throughout all stages of technology development

Qualifications:

·         PhD or MS in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, HCI, Design or a related field

·         Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for mobile applications

·         Ability to create a consistent, realistic style

·         Hands-on experience in software and prototype development for CG and AR

·         Solid understanding of modern 3D graphics APIs such as Vulkan, OpenGL or DirectX and GPU technologies, including shaders, shading languages and rendering techniques

·         Extensive experience in UX design, have a real passion for creating amazing looking user interfaces, 3D content, 3D scenes and scenarios

·         Very strong implementation skills in Python or C/C++ or C# or Java

·         Experience with Unity3D development for iOS and Android deployment

·         Experience with OpenCV, OpenGL ES, WebGL and data from cameras

·         Experience working on a game from start to finish, delivering assets efficiently and effectively to developers

·         A deep understanding of computer vision technologies, rendering, simulation and multimedia processing

·         Able to work as a team player and as an individual contributor

·         Highly motivated and innovative with a good design sense and an eye for making things better

·         Ability to meet deadlines and commitments in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to details

·         Good time management and task prioritization skills
