What are my responsibilities?
As Technical Consultant you will support the sale of IoT projects as a customer interface, building up deep relationships with our customers and support negotiations.
Build strong and long-lasting relationships and grow business mainly in Manufacturing, Cities, Utilities or Logistics sector, jointly with account managers
Gain profound understanding of specific customers, including their needs, business model, industry trends and key organization initiatives
Engage with customers to find added value use cases and guide to possible solutions
Support sales for IoT integration projects and provide technical background and feasibility
Support contract negotiations and ensure technical know-how input
Perform technical risk management to minimize project risks
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Graduate degree in Business / Engineering / Computer Science or comparable
10+ years of tech consulting experience with minimum of one year in the IoT space. Experience in applications business
Domain know-how of assets and processes in Manufacturing, Cities, Utilities or Logistics industry to ensure industry-specific proposal and use case development
Understanding of IoT use cases to enhance operational efficiency, product performance, customer experience or disrupt business models
Understanding of technology stack incl. IoT architecture, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT and AI
A team-oriented and collaborative approach including outstanding listening skills and ability to manage through influence
Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English
