TM1 Developer

We have a fantastic opportunity to join my clients global business at their new and expanding West End office paying a salary of £80,000 - £85,000 depending on experience.  

We are looking for a TM1 Senior to join the  Finance Business Applications team as a Senior TM1 Developer on a permanent basis.

The team provides support for our Finance systems, including integrity of interfaces, user access and operation of key controls. They are also responsible for driving system improvements and provide configuration, development, process and technical SME and change delivery expertise.

Finance Business Applications administer and maintain six main financial applications, including TM1 for the group as well many locally developed applications on several platforms.

You will play a lead role in managing our TM1 system supporting the System Lead with all BAU and project based work. You will be responsible for the support of TM1, full life-cycle and delivering change requests, system improvements & impact assessments all whilst collaborating with and managing relationships across our Finance function with key stakeholders

Skills We Are Looking For

• Extensive experience developing and modelling in TM1 utilising the various development components available such as architect and performance modeller. Version 10.2 and above
• Deep technical undestanding and ability to use the likes of Python & R
• A leaning toward Data Science 
• Expert knowledge of TM1 design and build including TI Processes, Security, Rules and Feeders. Plus, a working knowledge of VBA and SQL
• Consultancy experience would be beneficial but otherwise experience of full product lifecycle including upgrades and implementations
• Ability to translate business requirements into design and manage end to end project implementations
• Knowledge of the system hardware requirements and server configuration. Able to troubleshoot stability issues if required and make recommendations for improvements
• Ability to Conduct complex data analysis and investigations where required to support business initiatives
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships across the business
• Courageous Integrity willing to speak out and make recommendations for improvements to the system, processes and models
• Ability to manage ones own workload and reprioritise against changing demands
• A finance background or accounting qualifications would be beneficial as you need to be able to understand the impact of change requests on the wider financial models and systems
• Experience in the retail sector would also be useful
