QA Engineer at Tessian (London, UK)

QA AT TESSIAN

We're looking for QA Engineers to join our QA and Testing function, creating and performing tests on all aspects of the Tessian platform as well as assisting with designing and running our testing practices and feeding into product development discussions. Your role will be very hands-on, primarily working on our Microsoft Outlook add-in and our frontend. You'll get to work on a lot of varied testing which will include testing our external APIs, frontend dashboard, Outlook add-ins and email gateway, as well as integrating closely with engineering teams, providing feedback and contributing towards product decisions. Our agnostic approach to problem solving means we favour hiring engineers who pride themselves on the ability to learn new skills, their comfort with the unknown and their willingness to experiment. At Tessian you’ll be growing your skill-set on an ongoing basis; regular and continuous development is something we believe in and as an employee we will seek to create opportunities for you to evolve. We build quickly and follow both agile and continuous delivery paradigms and you will have autonomy to work on your projects, and be part of our regular round tables to bounce ideas around as a team on how to tackle our biggest challenges.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET SOMEONE WHO:

  • Has experience working with enterprise integrations, ideally Microsoft/.NET based (in a perfect situation, an Outlook add-in)

  • Has previous hands-on QA experience in frontend and backend testing

  • Is able to readily identify requirements and scope out relevant test scenarios

  • Has experience in manual testing (some automated testing is a plus)

  • Has good knowledge of programming languages, infrastructure and frameworks

  • Has deep knowledge of testing platforms and tools

  • Has good organisational and communication skills

  • Is a creative and out-the-box type thinker

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE:

  • You’ll work alongside amazing, high-performing colleagues

  • We offer a competitive salary and equity options with every role, with annual salary reviews.

  • Everyone gets 25 days of paid annual leave (33 days including bank holidays)

  • Company contributions are made towards your pension

  • You’ll get a high-spec tech kit to work on

  • Flexible morning start-times on the engineering teams

  • One week of remote working from abroad per year

  • We have regular communal company lunches, and regular team socials and activities

  • Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of office snacks including fruit, nuts, bread, cereals, and amazing coffee

  • We offer a cycle to work scheme, eye-care vouchers and childcare vouchers

  • Parents and carers are guaranteed one day per week of work-from-home, and we'll give you an extra day of annual leave to take your child to their first day of nursery and primary school.

  • If you’re coming from abroad, we’ll provide relocation assistance. Over 25% of the company is international and we’re always as supportive as we can be in helping people make the move
