Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, designing, and developing state of the art enterprise applications & solutions leveraging leading edge technologies in the areas of Web Development, Intelligent Automation, Cloud Solutions, & Integration. Analyzes, tests, and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide subject matter expertise in the design & delivery of enterprise applications utilized by our workforce. Design technology solutions in support of overall enterprise business strategies and administer resources and projects in support of their realization, Collaborate with other teams throughout various stages of software projects while ensuring technology standards and sustainability are maintained; architect new solutions for our workforce including developing proofs of concept and innovative approaches to meet changing business needs, assess resource requirements, develop project plans, maintain and ensure the proper execution of project deliverables and production implementations, administer production support items in order to ensure business continuity, and communicate project statuses to management. Design, configure, test, and support applications utilizing open source technologies, assist in the deployment of software releases; research, write, and edit technical documentation and requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; partner with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; ensure team delivers software on time, to specification, and within budget; and train, and provide guidance to software engineers.

Job Specification:

-Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.

-Minimum 5 years of Enterprise Software Development experience leveraging open source framework including HTML5, JavaScript, Java, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Microservices, Spring etc .

-1+ years of hands on experience of using standard CICD tools such as GitHub, GoCD, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Artifactory etc.

-Minimum 3 years of experience with both SQL and NoSQL (Oracle, Cassandra, Mongo etc.) with large complex datasets.

-Minimum 3 years of working experience using Python.

-Engineers end-to-end software solutions across full software development lifecycle with continuous integration, test-driven development, and agile, scrum development methodologies

-Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services.

-Familiarity with AWS , Azure or other PaaS cloud platforms (CloudFoundry)

-Experience with Workday development tools or other SAAS enterprise platforms a plus. Desire to learn and become skilled on Workday technologies.

-Good understanding of ETL processes and tools (Pentaho or Informatica preferred)

-Track record of managing multiple priorities and competing demands

-Demonstrated experience leading development efforts, and collaborating with other team members

-Demonstrated skills and experience with debugging, root cause analysis and performance optimization in Cloud, On-Premises or Hybrid platforms.

-Excellent communication & collaboration skills, team player
