We are looking to hire a dynamic Automation/QA Engineer to ideally work in the Salt Lake City, UT or Mountain View, CA. There is remote potential for a superstar. If you have previous VC funded start up experience, even better!
Requirements:
- 6+ year overall QA or related experience
- Strong understanding of SQA methodologies
- Experience with web and mobile development and knowledge of the idiosyncrasies associated with various mobile platforms, screen resolutions, mobile OS versions, and hardware form factors
- Experience with one or many scripting languages (Ruby, Python) and experience with automation
- Experience with open source test tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Ability to use basic Unix commands
- Have the ability to learn quickly and apply product knowledge to test planning; quickly acquire a deep understanding of the application UX, design details, logic, and dependencies
- Superb attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects in complex software features
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

- Basic knowledge or working experience with AWS
- Experience working with third-party APIs
