- Support and handling the market data issues on day to day basis
- Must have strong technical and functional knowledge
- Specific Knowledge on Market data apps like BBG, FactSet, Thomson, and Reuters
- Usage Understanding Troubleshoot on Biz Query. Understanding on BBG
- General knowledge on BBG industry knowledge / domain knowledge and terminology for this domain
- Expert Technical background Intricacies of desktop / Level 2 and level 3 support on desktop
- Must be able to troubleshoot desktop files system
- Expert in Portfolio Manager and understand the issues and then troubleshoot
3rd party application support , troubleshooting applications,
- SQL knowledge is needed
Responsibilities:
Learn
- MDS applications and develop needed skills to support MDS clients on all MDS applications.
- Mentoring with another team member will be done until needed levels of expertise are reached.
- Analyze problems quickly in a potentially stressful environment and determine course of action to correct.
- Assists the client community in the acquisition, training, and use of market data systems as necessary.
- Provide support to other MDS members as needed to correct problems.
- Complete weekly administrative duties on time.
- Use superior customer service skills to ensure the clients needs are met.
- Assists with application deployment and upgrade when needed.
- Train clients on new and upgraded applications.
- Some travel will be required to assist team members or clients in other offices or for system upgrades.
