Desktop Support Engineer (Dallas) at Wipro Limited (Dallas, TX)

Position is for 1 year W2 contract with salary + benefits.

The work location will be Rosmemont, IL.

Education:

• Bachelors degree preferred BS, IS, CIS
• Domain certification preferred

Work Experience:

·         3 to 4+ years experience in IT field area specialty

·         Experience with Windows Desktop environment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

·         Experience with Window 7 and Window 10 upgrades and migration

·         Experience with Windows operating system upgrades and patching

·         Knowledge of handheld devices (Smartphones, Blackberry)

·         Experience with Microsoft Office applications

·         Knowledge of network and wireless concepts including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and network routing

·         Knowledge of Active Directory and related support tools

·         Knowledge of Window Server operating systems

·         Experience with software products Bigfix, Symantec Anti-virus, Nutanix, VDI, and NetMotion suite

·         Skills to create packaged installs as well as scripted installs of applications

Experience with provisioning and configuration of telecom phones, polycom, skype configuration etc
