Lead Software Engineer at Coit Group (We're Hiring!) (Salt Lake City, UT)

As a Senior and Lead Java Developer you love to be hands on. You will join an agile, cross-functional team and be responsible for architectural and design tasks along with supporting more junior members of the team.

The next stage in our product development is to build an control / release management application on Salesforce.com/CPQ, therefore ability to prioritize tasks with minimal guidance and communicate effectively with both technical and business personnel is a must.

What you will accomplish:

• Participates in end-to-end in the product life cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation
• Take an active lead on mentoring and guiding junior members of team  (x3)
• Owning daily team work flows and task allocations
• Oversee timescales on estimates on assigned tasks
• Independently write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable.
• Take an active lead in analyzing and fixing complex problems during development and support.
• Document and communicate results appropriately.
• Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to the CTO and/or appropriate team members on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings, one-on-one meetings, and/or impromptu occasions.
• Proactively explore methods and tools to improve the overall development process.

What you will bring

7+ mo

• re years of software engineering experience with strong understanding of SDLC

• 3+ years in a hands on lead developer role

• Some experience with salesforce.com preferred with Lightning components.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, SQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL
• In depth knowledge with relational databases
• Knowledge of release management and version control software is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science of Engineering) or equivalent experience
• Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Enjoy working at an entrepreneurial company
• Highly motivated and dependable
