Telecommunications Web Developer Job Summary:

In this position you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Telecom-related web applications and services for all locations. You will be on the Voice Application Development vertical within the Telecom team. This position will work with a small team of engineers as an application coder to provide a green field suite of micro-services and applications. This includes accountability for application stability and performance and ensuring that company objectives are met.

Telecommunications Web Developer Job Responsibilities:

• Designs, manages, programs and controls telecommunications systems for all locations on a corporate level. Includes serving as technical consultant to end-users and less experienced personnel.
• Design, implement, and maintain web services & other telephony-related applications for all telecommunications systems for all locations on a corporate level, following established/defined coding patterns & practices
• Design and implement Data Services for those web-related applications
• Work as contributing individual on small team to design & maintain platform solutions
• Works closely with resources in the data communication group to ensure the telecom network provides an appropriate level of performance to prevent voice quality degradation and interruption.

Telecommunications Web Developer Job Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of telecommunications systems including PBX and IVR functionality, conferencing, voicemail and other telecommunications systems.
• In depth knowledge of Interactive Intelligence Customer Interaction Center platform.
• In depth knowledge of large call center environments.

Telecommunications Web Developer Desired Skills:

• Ability to code and deploy ASP.NET based web services
• Ability to code and deploy ASP.NET user interfaces
• Ability to implement C# code behind
• Use Visual Studio IDE
• Use Team Foundation Server & Agile Scrum for SDLC
• Build SQL Server database objects to support data driven web services
• Implement RESTful web services design
