Senior IT/OPS Manager at Moblize (Houston, TX)

Role and Responsibilities

You will work in a collaborative environment with Development, QA, Support, Product Management, and CSM team. Your primary job responsibilities will be:

• Perform tasks as an IT engineer such as Microsoft AD, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, O365, desktop & printer support
• Build, deploy, install, update, configure, and maintain systems and services. Preparation of deployment scripts
• You will work to automate and optimize processes and develop tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
• You will be the owner of the continuous deployment and integration pipeline that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
• Responsible for deployment of IOS and Android based mobile apps is possible
• Provide support for deployed solutions in a production PaaS/IaaS environment
• Ensure that end-to-end performance is monitored and maintained to high level of quality, standards, supportability and operability as defined within negotiated and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to propose and implement necessary Service Improvements.
• Responsible to ensure the Application portfolio is compliant with the relevant IT controls and information security standards & baselines.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Technologies.

• 3 5 years of experience in Linux Administration.

• Experience in AWS VPC, EKS, MSK, S3, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, Cloudfront.

• Experience in Container technologies and Kubernetes.

• Experience in Kafka or some other broker

• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipeline for hosted applications.

• Fluency in DevOps, including continuous integration, continuous deployment / delivery, configuration and containerization, infrastructure as a code, and monitoring

• Good understanding of IOT and big data applications.

• Scripting experience using Shell, Python or PowerShell.

• Good understanding of installing and deploying applications on Windows and Linux Platform.

• Understand, track and debug process flow across multiple interconnected systems.

• Good analytical skills.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

TRAVEL Travel to Austin if required.
