Job Description:

Desktop Support & Training Manager

This Manager position will provide direction of day to day operations of a team of support analysts delivering technical support and solutions to the URBN end user community. The Manager will build credible relationships with the user community and ensure user expectations are exceeded. Training and learning technologies will be an essential part of the success of this role. As technology changes, updates occur, and the desktop landscape evolves this role will be responsible for the delivery of the learning to the end user community.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the End User Support staff for day to day operations across a large corporate campus

• Deliver training to end users related to Desktop production tools such as Office, video conferencing/collaboration tools and security tools.

• Oversee the delivery of laptop assets to end users

• Manage escalation practices and build relationships that help deliver excellent support

• Address complicated executive support scenarios while maintaining relationships with executive staff

• Collaborate with other IT groups in handling end user issues and recommend service improvements as necessary

• Great communication and collaboration skills at a global level

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a support manager role

• Experience with delivering the training of core desktop office products

• Extensive experience with Microsoft and Apple operating systems

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
