About this Position

At Texas Mutual, we're creating a stronger safer Texas. You can help us build outstanding technology and collaborativesupport services to further our cause. You will create the SCCM packages, collections, reports, and inventory of software packages including the creation of base desktop configurations. Develop standardized Windows Desktop builds (imaging). You are a recognized expert in Deploying OS and application updates, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and Windows Operating Systems. Join us as a Senior Systems Analyst, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Supervisor.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

In this Role:

  • Provide excellent customer service by developing relationships with peers and customers
  • Perform advanced monitoring, administration, and maintenance of SCCM environment including SQL Server databases
  • Partner with other departments to identify, recommend, and implement solutions related to SCCM and other deployment technologies
  • Assist and lead in the troubleshooting of SCCM Server and Client solutions from the infrastructure and application layers
  • Perform advanced monitoring, administration, maintenance, and resolution of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell
  • Maintain multiple OSD profiles and update, including bare metal imaging and remote deployments
  • Lead technically complex process improvements
  • Receive and respond to escalations from Desktop Support Center partners
  • Secure the environment, including the remediation and mitigation of vulnerabilities
  • Maintain Windows OS desktop security hardening
  • Package and maintain monthly patches and software, such as applications (purchased and in-house developed) and O365 packaging and management
  • Participate in a rotating after hours on call coverage schedule for data center and application related issues


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Information of related field or any equivalent combination of experience and education
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Experience with a virtual desktop environment
  • Experience with Windows 10 and familiarity with the Windows 10 servicing life-cycle
  • Advanced SCCM and Windows patch management experience, including knowledge in the management and application of updates to Windows operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting status messages on clients and SCCM server
  • Expert understanding of the entire software product and development life-cycles
  • Experience managing MAC devices and MAC OS
  • Ability to track and manage software licensing
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and later
  • Experience in the administration of Microsoft Core Infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
  • Experience in the administration of Microsoft Client and Server Operating System technologies: Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and greater
  • Experience creating PowerShell scripts
  • Knowledge and experience in security and protecting an enterprise environment in the form of vulnerability remediation, following best practices, creating controls, following processes, researching current trends, and recommending mitigation
  • Experience in enterprise monitoring, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Accomplished in performing and understanding baselines and native Microsoft performance counters, with the capability to interpret results from all tool sets

  • Experience with driver management
  • Experience with Microsoft O365
  • Microsoft Intune configuration and administration including MAM policies
  • Experience with Microsoft Store
  • Experience with SSO and MFA configuration and management
  • Okta and RSA experience
  • Linux experience, including configuration, administration and maintenance
  • Microsoft Azure experience
  • Microsoft certifications
