Job Description :
- Full-stack engineer part of the Knowledge Management & Learning engineering team based in Bangalore.
- Focus of role is to develop the new POA Knowledge Management and Learning Platform, leveraging JavaScript/ReactJS, Machine Learning, ElasticSearch, API enabled content management system (CMS), Big Data Analytics, to be developed over the next 18-24 months.
- Experience with Search engines, Content Management Systems or Machine Learning a plus, but not essential.
- Java/JS development focusing on an array of modern technologies.
- Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
- Participate in code reviews and automated testing
- Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation
- Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
- Automate deployments in test or production environments
- Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking
Qualifications :
- Experience working with Multi-media technologies and experience in a knowledge and learning context is ideal, also search related technologies (Elasticsearch / SolR is a plus)
- Hands-on API development is essential
- Working with BDD / TDD discipline
- Experience working within an Agile environment / global team environment
- Typically has 5-7 experience minimum hands-on development
- System Design and architecture
- CICD Tool Chain Automation.
