Responsibilities

• Cognos 11 models, reports and dashboards;

• Migration of Cognos 10.2 products to Cognos 11;

• Requirements, designs, and test plans for BI products;

• Source data analysis and mapping;

• Technical documentation as required by program standards;

• End-user documentation as required

 Requirements

• Tasks Specific to this requirement: Migrate Cognos 10.2 artifacts to Cognos 11.
• 
  
• Design new reports and dashboards in Cognos 11 as required;
• 
  
• Create metadata documentation for migrations and new artifacts.
• 
  
  
• Preferred candidates will have the following skills and experience:
• 
  
• At least 8 years fulltime Cognos development experience;
• 
  
• At least 5 years Cognos 10.1/2, utilizing Query, Reports, Analysis, Event, and Workspace Advanced Studios.
• 
  
• At least 6 months Cognos 11 development experience;
• 
  
• Significant experience in OLAP solutions using Cognos Impromptu, Transformer, Power Play, Cube Design;
• 
  
• Demonstrated facility to write and debug PL/SQL and SQL for quick turn-around requirements;
• 
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• 
  
• Experience using ERwin, SSIS, TOAD
•
