Web Developer at Murray Resources (Houston, TX)

Position: Web Developer

Duration: Direct Hire (No C2C)

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $90K to $130K based on experience

Fast-growing software and services company in the oil and gas industry is looking for a Web Developer to join their growing team to help develop new software products to commercialize by the end of this year.

Responsibilities

• Client is getting ready to work on projects written in C# (.NET Core) and a web backend written in ASP.NET Core. Will most use React as the back-end framework and Docker for Windows to build the deployment packages. [THIS IS THE IMMEDIATE NEED]

Technical Requirements

• Web frontend Javascript, Typescript, Angular/React, CSS/SASS (3-5 years)
• Web backend ASP.NET core, Ruby on rails (either-or, preferably some ASP.NET core experience, again 3-5 years)
• Overall 5+ years experience in web development

Other Requirements

• Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, kubernetes)

• Cloud deployment (preferably, with Azure)

• Since our products focus on the oil and gas engineering market, an engineering background and/or experience in the oil and gas industry goes a long way

• Demonstrated ability to plan, and execute new software development including directing a small team of designers and developers

• Ability to understand requirements and vision from Product Manager and translate it into software design

• Demonstrate that you keep up with advances in the software development tools and frameworks (.NET framework, C#, software architecture patterns, developments in PaaS, etc)
