IBM is seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer (UI Developer) to optimize and enhance functionality and the user experience for IBM Knowledge Center (KC) - an industry-leading information delivery mechanism. IBM Knowledge Center has already garnered the largest percentage of page views on ibm.com, receiving over 1M new visitors per week, over 5M page views a week, and 50M search requests per year. You will collaborate with Application Developers, Designers, Accessibility experts, Translation and Product Management to craft and hone a new user interface and iconic experience.
We are looking for experienced Front-End web developer who can take UI Lead role in the team. As the UI leader, you will work on IBM Knowledge Center website, implement new user interfaces, maintain current versions as well as distribute tasks in the team. You will become part of the KC leadership team, which interact with clients and make impact on the solution performance.
Requirements:
Great HTML5/CSS/JS development skills
Experience with at least two javascript libraries/frameworks (eg. ReactJS, Preact, RxJS, ES6, ECMA2017, Dojo, jQuery, ...)
Experience with at least one javascript task runner (Grunt, Gulp) is advantage
English - intermediate
(optional) Experience with CSS frameworks (Sass, Less)
(optional) Experience with Agile development methodology
(optional) Experience with Java application servers, databases, eclipse, etc.
(optional) Experience with DevOps
Required experience:
At least 5 years of UI development experience
Salary starting fro 2.100EUR, based on relevant experience

- 5+ years of overall experience in UI development
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS 3, Javascript/Javascript frameworks (jQuery, NODEjs, DOJO ), JSON and XML
- Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
- Knowledge of high-level OOP languages and MVC framework
- Component Development in Action Script
- Experience developing and deploying in environments such as Eclipse, Flexbuilder,
- Knowledge on RESTful Web Service.
- Experience with CVS/ SVN source control system
- Experience with the Agile development methodology
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills .
- Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently
- Must be a self-starter, resourceful and skilled at getting results
