JOB SUMMARY:
-The Systems Engineer III architects solutions, acts as a subject matter expert, and provides thought leadership around their areas of expertise.
-The incumbent operates independently on complex assignments involving the analysis of both business and regulatory requirements, as well as the analysis of the individual technical implementations to maximize benefit to the business.
-The Systems Engineer III establishes and cultivates highly successful relationships with our business units, technical implementation teams, management and vendors.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Skills:
-Strong understanding of desktop and application virtualization technologies such as VMWare, VCenter and ESX or AWS/Jenkins
-Broad knowledge of application packaging techniques and tools for virtual desktops
-Broad knowledge of how to install, configure, and patch Microsoft and third-party desktop applications
-Proficiency in at least one, preferably several high-level scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Perl).
-System security, authentication, and hardening technologies such as Active Directory, ADLDS, LDAP, PKI, AV, DLP, email filtering, and encryption.
-Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking
