About The Role
The Sr. Network Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting the corporate IT network infrastructure and network security.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Design, implement and support secure corporate LAN/ WAN, and WWAN networks.
- Implement and support Cisco Meraki LAN switches, Cisco Meraki WWAN access points.
- Maintain and support Cisco ACI, ASA, Catalyst network infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP, VPN, VLAN, MPLS, VoIP.
- Strong understanding of software-defined WAN technology and multi-site connectivity.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure networking.
- Strong understanding of VMware networking.
- Ability to manage vendor services and contracts such as MIS circuits, disaster recovery, Microsoft Office 365, warranty/support renewals.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and IT infrastructure.
- Proactive patch management of all network infrastructure devices.
- Evaluate new technologies and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Work with IT team members to assess and solve all company-wide IT issues.
- Implement and manage the monitoring and alerting of network infrastructure devices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Requires 7+ years related experience in system administration.
- Good oral, written communications, organization, and project management skills required.
- Must be current with all Cisco related technologies and training including Cisco Meraki LAN/WWAN, Cisco ACI, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Catalyst.
- Must be proficient in SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, Microsoft Azure networking, VMware networking, and network security.
- Experience managing Cisco Hyperflex/UCS blade servers.
- Strong working knowledge of networking technologies and topologies.
- Experience with Sophos XG firewalls. CCNA not required but recommended.
- Microsoft or VMware certification is a plus.
