Fullstack Software Engineer at SICPA (Cyberjaya, Malaysia)

ROLE

• Design and develop software components
• Assist in project definition, analysing customer needs
• Involved in testing and installation of the solution
• Participate to project and product documentation
• Support and train customers
• Test and validate new software and hardware
• Necessity to work occasionally during unconventional hours in order to meet project and client constraints

PROFILE

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies
• 5 years of experience in software development
• Proficient with JAVA programming language
• Expertise in troubleshooting, technical support and technical training
• Autonomous, curious, trustworthy, result-oriented and problem solving skills
• Team player in a multi-cultural working environment with ability to work independently
• English, other International Language including French is an advantage

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

• Strong experience in OOP and multithreading concepts
• Experience with JAVA frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Web Services, Swing, JavaFX
• Experience with HTML5, Angular, CSS
• Database knowledge: SQL/PLSQL preferably on Oracle and Postgres
• Application server knowledge: JBoss/Wildfly/Tomcat
• Knowledge of Eclipse, Docker, Maven, Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, Artifactory, JIRA, Bash
• Has exposure to Agile methodology such as Scrum and Kanban
• Understanding of UML diagrams
