Looking for experience with  VMWare Horizon/View, ThinApp, AppVolumes, and XenApp. Strong powershell scripting.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of desktop and application virtualization technologies such as VMWare Horizon/View, ThinApp, AppVolumes, and XenApp.

• Broad knowledge of application packaging techniques and tools for virtual desktops

• Broad knowledge of how to install, configure, and patch Microsoft and third-party desktop applications

• Proficiency in at least one, preferably several high-level scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Perl).

• Strong understanding of Windows desktop and server operating systems and VMware server virtualization

• Strong understanding of system security, authentication, and hardening technologies such as Active Directory, ADLDS, LDAP, PKI, AV, DLP, email filtering, and encryption.

• Broad knowledge of systems and application monitoring tools such as Solarwinds Orion

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking

• Broad experience with system management and patching tools such as Solarwinds Patch Manager, SCCM, and WSUS
