Your mission:
- Develop quality code for our high traffic web applications - frontend as well as backend.
- Own the entire development lifecycle from specification to deployment.
- Follow and shape processes aimed at efficiently creating software of the highest quality.
- Collaborate within cross-functional and international agile teams.
- Be data-driven, analyze impact of features, test hypotheses and implement new solutions.
Your heroic skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent education or experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a web application developer.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficient in React, knowledge of a modern React stack to handle side effects, state, and styling.
- Well versed in best practices in OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, clean code and testing.
- Backend development experience in professional web development frameworks such as PHP/Symfony or Python/Django. Experience in Java/Spring Boot would be a strong plus.
- Flexible and open-minded personality.
- You firmly believe in lean and agile development (Scrum, Kanban).
- You have passion for clean and beautiful code, with an eye for simplicity and pragmatism.
- DevOps experience is a big plus (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- You get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly.
- You understand that quality is not assured solely by the QA engineer, but by the team.
- Fluent in English.
