One of our large clients in the Twin Cities is looking to add a Desktop Support Analyst to their team. Excellent opportunity to join a team that is supporting cutting edge hardware and software. This person will be responsible for supporting all software and hardware for internal employees. This person will also be part of our clients Genius Bar. The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for providing level 2 and 3 hardware support for all employees across the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ Year of Desktop/Hardware experience within an enterprise environment
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- Experience providing excellent Customer Service for end users or other face to face communication skills
- Experience with Break Fix, Desktop Set-up, Hardware Deployment, App-troubleshooting and VD
- Experience supporting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory and internal applications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide desktop support and delivery services related to IT assets (laptops, desktops, VDI and portable devices)
- Provide exceptional customer service - communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, IM and face to face.
- Documentation - technical documentation (requests and tickets updates, as well as technical documentation for customers and support teams)
- Perform internal prep, tracking, and disposal activities, such as imaging assets, wiping assets, preparing physical delivery packages, area organization, ordering, etc.
- Provide level 2 and 3 hardware/software supports to effectively install, support and operate for IT and Business operators.
- Work with engineer teams to facilitate the support and deployment of standard software packages, desktop deployment, and to help enforce security standards and policies across the enterprise.
- Perform Executive support and assist in Executive presentations involving desktop setup, use of Power Point and other media based tools, projectors, etc.
