WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work closely with our team of UX designers, product managers and engineering leadership around the globe to create best-of-class, delightful TV-watching experiences.
- Work with other mobile, device, and web developers to build a modern Hulu client UI for PlayStation, Xbox, FireTV, and other media streaming devices.
- Help redefine how we all engage with and consume video content in the living room.
WHAT TO BRING
- 6+ years experience as a developer and strong programming language and scripting skills.
- Proven experience improving code quality across the team.
- A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc).
- Experience promoting technical initiatives in the code.
- In-depth knowledge of web-service and data-driven application architecture.
- Independent, proactive, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity.
- Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic.
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and modern UI libraries and frameworks.
- Experience with media streaming technologies like DASH, HLS, HTML5 EME.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Strong curiosity and ability to learn new coding languages.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with DRM technologies like Playready and Widevine.
- Experience developing for Xbox, FireTV, or similar devices.
