To accelerate the usage and adoption of our B2B platform this role has been created to manage the B2B platform products. The ideal candidate will be offered the opportunity to work with like-minded developers from our international offices. He/She will manage all aspects related to this product  and be responsible for the technical quality of the product. This job is highly complex and diverse; it allows you to blend the creativity of people and technology.

What you will be doing



  • Manage a team of highly skilled developers and the delegation of tasks

  • Create technical roadmaps for the product

  • Define which technologies to use when developing the product

  • Define the technical requirements, guidelines, and practices of the product

  • Mentor and offering feedback to lead developers and developers by relentlessly guarding code quality through pull requests and helping them when they have questions

  • Collaborate closely with lead developers on architect new features and seeing them through to completion



Requirements



Work and educational experience



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  • 5+ years’ experience in software development and delivery of high availability and traffic services

  • 1+ years’ experience of software technical management

  • Experience with Social Media or Live Streaming Mobile Applications

  • Experience with PAAS, B2B platforms


Personal competencies



  • Exceptionally good people management skills

  • Ability to lead teams and work effectively with remote teams

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-compressed and dynamic environment


Technical skills



  • A strong understanding of software design, OOP principles (Design patterns, SOLID, DRY, Yagni)

  • A strong understanding of architectural patterns, event-based architectures

  • Experience with backend technologies, such as: PHP, Node.JS, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, Memcache, Redis, RabbitMQ, FMS, other distributed and in-house built systems

  • Experience with frontend technologies, such as: HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, SPA development, WebSocket

  • Experience with live streaming, such as: HLS, Media Source Extension, Wowza, Adobe Media Servers

  • Experience with iOS and/or Android development

  • Experience with responsive design, multi-platform technologies (PC/mobile/table/TV)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines

  • An overall knowledge of working with high-availability, high-performance, scalable systems

  • Experience with high traffic systems, multi DC, distributed systems


Coding



  • Modular ADR and MVC system development

  • OOP principles (Design patterns, SOLID, DRY, Yagni)

  • Clean code, covered by unit, integration and UI tests (including TDD)

  • Design, develop and test software

  • Development methodology

  • Agile development process in Scrum

  • Continuous Integration and Deployment Systems for daily based deployments, Git and GitHub Workflow

  • Contribute to OpenSource projects
