Ebates is looking for a Sr software engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team. We’re an international team spanning across 3 continents responsible for building software used by hundreds of millions of users.
Responsibilities:
- Persuasive communicator
- Form strong partnership with product managers and stakeholders
- Willingness to mentor and delegate work to promote growth on the team
- Strong orientation towards data and use data to drive decisions
- Understands how to break work down into concise deliverables with a focus on iterative product delivery
- Become intimately familiar with systems he/she builds and pride in writing maintainable code

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack/web development experience
- Experience building customer facing applications, preferably enterprise level e-commerce applications
- Strong Javascript experience with deep expertise in at least one of the leading Javascript frameworks – React, Angular, Vue
- Experience with JS unit testing and test libraries
- Experience with and front-end tooling such as Webpack, Gulp, or similar
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS or LESS
- Familiarity with Jquery is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.
- You have been intimately involved with optimizing delivery of web-based applications

- Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
- S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Bonus:
- Experience with NodeJs and GraphQL
- Experience in a structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity
