You will be involved in all phases of product development including preparation of technical specifications, the creation of design mockups and prototypes, and active participation in design, code, and test reviews. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working as part of a development team to design, implement, and test the elements of our webbased cardiology image viewer
- Participating in all phases of an Agile development process, including preparation of technical specifications, creation of design mockups/prototypes, and active participation in design, code, and test reviews
- Working with clinicians to understand their requirements and improve our products
- Working with OEM vendors to integrate our viewer with their systems
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a junior to intermediate level (1-5 years of work experience) developer who is interested in working on all facets of web and desktop applications (UI, middle tier, services, and database) – particularly a developer who is interested in medical imaging and is excited about the prospect of working on applications that combine image viewing and machine learning.
Our stack is Meteor alongside .Net, SQL Server, and MySQL.
Candidates must have:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Software application development experience in JavaScript, Meteor, or Node JS
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required for this position
Experience with the following is a strong plus:
- Single-page applications, web applications
- Web services
- DICOM imaging
- MVC, jQuery, WCF, XSLT
- Agile development processes, continuous integration and deployment, unit testing
- Healthcare applications
- Docker
