Medefer is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in London.


Your mission: 
Healthcare is antiquated, and the most “innovative” start-ups are looking at just one part of the patient journey. We are looking for motivated, strategically-minded and problem solving Business Analyst to work on our “National Grid” Platform.


This role will give you the opportunity to: 
As part of the tech team you'll be changing how healthcare is fundamentally delivered for a patient, at every stage of their care, between organisations, such as their GP, hospital clinic, and investigations, to name a few. 
Working with the Technical Architect, and the Chief Executive, you will be part of a team building Medefer’s core “national grid” platform. Your main objectives will be to communicating with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the Medefer organisation as a whole as well as work with stake holders to understand and investigate feedback into the service provided. You will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner. To create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, closely connected to the whole Medeferian family.


The core function of our business analyst role at Medefer is to be a liaison between our developers, stakeholders and clients which will require you to wear different hats. You will write technical specifications and other related documents for the tech team, be hands on and heavily involved in problem solving, prioritise what, when and how changes are made to the software, beta testing, work with subject matter experts to configure the software to what best fit their needs, help internal colleagues and clients with user guides and teaching material of how our software works. Research, develop and document technical design specification and test scripts, analysis of documents to maintain continuity of style.


A bit about you: 
• 3+ years of business analyst and technical writing experience 
• 2:1 or above from a top-tier university 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Possess a great attention to detail 
• Great writing technical writing skills 
• Experience of working with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts preferably in a fast paced start-up environment 
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle in a commercial/production environment 
• A strong understanding of Agile methodologies 
• Experience with management and monitoring


Some extra skills that would be awesome: 
• You understand that the patient is at the heart of everything you do & empathy drives every decision you make 
• Intimately worked with software developers before, designers is a plus. 
• Experience in Healthcare
