YOU WILL: 



  • Develop and maintain Java services within the OSGi platform (Apache Felix)

  • Manage the integration points between various systems and the CMS

  • Assist in architecture design and implementation plans for CMS projects

  • Troubleshoot issues that arise on the CMS

  • CMS team activities including providing mentorship and performing code reviews

  • Manage and maintain the content deployment workflows in the CMS

  • Provide CMS administration and provide build support to the release engineering team

  • Help to define and rollout development standards and documentation


YOU HAVE: 



  • Experience developing within CMS platforms, preferably Adobe Experience Manager or Day CQ CMS.

  • 3 – 5 years experience in Java development (J2EE) or equivalent

  • Experience in leading enterprise-grade development projects

  • Creative problem solver and troubleshooter

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team contributor

  • Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service environment

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

  • Working knowledge of web development tools and frameworks including JavaScript (JQuery, Node.js, etc.), HTML 5 and CSS is an asset

  • Experience working with Java Frameworks such as object mappers, Guice, Spring is an asset

  • Experience using Git and JIRA is an asset

  • Experience developing with scalable web systems is an asset

  • Experience using and configuring build automation tools (Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, etc) is an asset

  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol, UNIX shell scripting and networking is an asset

  • Experience working with RESTful web services is an asset

  • Ability to design and architect large-scale systems is an asset
