What Tools and Technology Would I be Using?
You have experience and are comfortable with this technology stack:
- Node.js, SQL Server
You will work with the following, so experience in these is a definite asset:
- 5+ Year experience in JavaScript with strong proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
- Demonstrated development expertise in MongoDB platform or similar NoSQL technologies
- Knowledge of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within MongoDB
- Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Good Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG 2.0 AA) and security compliance (OWASP)
- Experience in user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Experience in Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Background in OO application development
- Familiarity with a multi-platform, distributed environment
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- Bonus points for cloud development, especially Pivotal Cloud Foundry and / or Azure
What Work Will I be Doing?
We're looking for intermediate developers to complete our team. We are in the process of transforming, and we’re looking for people to learn and grow with us! Your responsibilities would include:
- Work with Business Systems Analysts to come up with solutions to problems
- Deliver on requirements for new and existing clients
- Develop new solutions and maintain existing ones
- Help to continuously improve tooling and processes
- Participate in peer reviews
