Real Index Investment management is a subsidiary of Colonial First State, they manage anywhere between $20- $30bn of assets across domestic, global and emerging market equity portfolios using systematic equity solutions.
You’ll join a small team working closely with Research and Portfolio Management teams to provide ongoing support and development of our in-house investment systems. You’ll be supporting and developing front-office tools used for trading, decision-support and reporting (predominantly Excel/VBA with SQL) as well as Maintaining and extending code used for research and portfolio construction (predominantly R)
Your technical knowledge will include:
- 3-5 years’ software development experience in the finance industry
- Hands-on experience programming with R, Excel/VBA and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- An interest in quantitative finance and systematic investment strategies will be very highly regarded.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to become part of the team is essential.
