Key responsibilities:
- Complete technical ownership of our communication platforms: Twilio, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Vero etc.
- Supporting growth and wider product teams in development and maintenance of highly personalised customer journeys (including Push, SMS, & Email). Including complex retention and onboarding campaigns based on customer persona and engagement points in their lifetime with us.
- Development of tools, processes, and frameworks to empower growth and product teams to make use of marketing automation tools with minimal additional engineering effort.
- Serving as a technical liaison and expert to wider product teams to help support solutioning and development for ways to provide personalised and timely communications.
- Develop and maintain segments for CRM programme, building advanced segmentation populations, working towards simple deployment of communications to these segments, and integration with third parties such as Facebook, DoubleClick and other data products.
- Have immense understanding of our customer and transactional data structure, in order to make use of this to tailor highly personalised communications.
- Work closely with core engineering team to implement and maintain customer events that enter Salesforce and other communications tools/infrastructure.
- Ensuring deliverability and reliability of all communications.
- Providing data for reporting for teams to provide insights into performance of communications
Required experience:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Expert knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform including working with Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation & Email Studio
- Salesforce Certification on Marketing Cloud or Administrator.
- Expert development skills required: HTML/CSS, AMPscript, SQL
- Understanding of and experience of working with large databases and table design and structure
- Experience building integrations with other systems for seamless data flow
Desired experience:
- Experience with our stack of programming languages: Ruby, React, ElasticSearch, AWS Lambda
- Experience in using and developing BI Visualisation tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Experience working with ServiceCloud
- Solid understanding of APAC and EU privacy laws
