AirMap is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This hands-on position will work collaboratively with other members of the AirMap team to build, test, deploy and continually improve AirMap’s distributed, dynamic geospatial database and APIs that allow drones to connect with airspace data.
Attributes of an AirMap DevOps Engineer
- You love automation.
- You value unit testing, load testing, system testing, integration testing, and all other types of testing!
- You get really excited when AWS or Azure announces new features.
- You care about security and have worked with Single Sign On, multi-layer security, multi-tenant security, SSL certificates, and knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and other security best practices.
- You’re a doer who leads by example.
You definitely have:
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Familiarity working with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or OpenStack
- Knowledge of best practices for securing web servers
- Experience with Go, Node, or Python microservices
- Expertise in monitoring best practices & tooling
- Linux system administration
You might also have:
- Experience with ELK stack
- Statistics or data processing background
Bonus Points if…
- You love drones and are excited about the future of autonomous flight!
- You’ve developed drone software/hardware interfaces (DJI, Pixhawk, Arduino)
